Though I have never tried free online dating myself, it is not a new concept for me. I have many friends who are actually active on free online dating and a few of them have already met their boyfriends or girlfriends on a free online dating site. I feel, personally, that dating online is interesting and free of risk because I know the way the sites work. You get many people matching your criteria and take their time for chatting.  Go with your own pace and select your partner carefully. At least there is no risk of meeting a drunk stranger at a bar asking you to fix a drink.

If you are hesitating to approach someone fearing the embarrassment of being declined, I must advice you not to worry because no one is watching there. My relation with my boyfriend ended up before 6 months and it took me long to get back to normal. Finally, I have decided to start afresh, but not with someone from the same city. I think there is barely any harm in getting registered in a free online dating site. Life is full of surprises and and who knows what surprises are waiting for me in these dating sites. If the idea clicks I will find that Mr Perfect and we will live happily ever after. If nothing comes out, at least I will have a good learning experience.

I am also optimistic about the results and looking forward to meet someone really interesting. If everything comes our way we may go on a date.
